We just wanted to say thank you to all the cool users that downloaded the app. We are so happy to see that it has been downloaded more than 3K times in only 1 week days! We are really excited about it.
Special thanks go to those that also have provided feedback about the app, and advise on how we can make it better, it is a pleasure to receive an email with positive feedback and also suggesting new features and telling us that they enjoy the app.
We will be adding more feature to it pretty soon. We are also cooking the Cartoonizer Pro version, which will contain a lot more options, no ads and special features.
We are currently working on:
- Rotating the photo
- Making Cartoonizer app more social
- Drawing more options!

Cartoonizer Free Released! 05/23/2011
We are happy to announce that we have released our first app to the Android Market.
Cartoonizer Free is a photo edition tool, that provides the users with the capabilities to cartoonize their photos.
Cartoonizer uses an online service called face.com to detect and recognize the position of the facial features of the person in the photo, and then it automatically adds the features.
The face.com technology is very powerful and accurate, and it provides with information of gender, head rotation in the 3 axis, whether the person is smiling or not, and if she is wearing glasses or not. Cartoonizer Free app uses all this information to automate the process of cartoonizing your photos.
Once this process is done, the user can also add more features to the photo and edit all the facial features. For example the user can edit the hue, contrast, brightness and saturation of each element, and make it match with the skin color of the person in the photo.
Once the user is done, he can share the cartoonized photo with friends via email, facebook, picasa, and more...
It is fun, easy to use and free!
